Data from BDG discovered that over 70% of London-based employees see themselves in the office 1-2 days a week but also expect an increase in collaboration activities. The new headquarters for Tate & Lyle PLC, a leading global provider of food and beverage ingredients, therefore called for a design that distils the best of the company’s current working culture while connecting staff to embrace ‘the art of possible’.
The revamped office space supports the growing trend towards hybrid and remote working while providing an area to accommodate a large volume of hybrid virtual and in-person meetings. The furniture package is designed around the needs of the people who use it, with the warmth of a clean modern home but in an office environment. Day2's team worked closely with the professional team to understand the brief from stakeholder engagement to maximise the space, which represented a 33% reduction from their previous workspace in Holborn.
